Family Home Care and Hospice, the largest locally owned home health company in the Inland Empire, is looking for a Branch Manager for our Palouse Branch located in Pullman, WA serving Whitman County WA and Latah County ID. 
 
As a Branch Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to manage all operations for a large and very successful branch of Family Home Care with a great team of incumbent staff. 
 
As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for development of home health, home care, and hospice services in the service area. This includes community outreach and relations to referral sources, allocation of resources, and management of staff productivity and financial performance of the branch (Profit and Loss). You will function as a resource person with primary responsibility for staff’s performance and development. You will direct clinical and support staff to achieve optimal quality outcomes in a cost effective manner, and are responsible to model the positive and optimistic environment we strive to have in the workplace and with our staff. You will hire, evaluate, supervise, and cooperate with a team of various disciplines. You will represent the face of home health and hospice services in the community. You will conduct home visits on occasion with patients and staff to monitor and support staff and patients.
 
You will work directly with a small administrative support team and report to the VP of Operations. You will also work closely with a Clinical Team Leader who will coordinate clinician’s efforts in the field. 
 
The branch is expected to operate independently using innovation and creativity to meet the needs specific to the residents of the service area, while being able to rely upon a team of support personnel and leadership in the corporate office located in Liberty Lake, WA. By joining Family Home Care and Hospice you will be joining a team of over 350 dedicated professionals who strive to help make Family Home Care and Hospice the employer of choice!
 
Anticipated schedule for this position is Full Time, Monday – Friday 8:00a-5:00p. This position is classified as Exempt.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Healthcare management experience is required with Home Health and Hospice experience strongly preferred. Being a Licensed clinician is also preferred. Must be able to learn and understand home health regulations, Hospice conditions of participation, and industry practices. Must be able to read and understand financial statements. Must be able to relate well with others, be independent, innovative, and self-motivated. Current driver’s license, and reliable transportation with auto insurance is required.
 
A Bachelor degree is required in nursing, health sciences, healthcare administration, or business administration with experience in healthcare or combination of experience and education. Masters degree is aforementioned fields is preferred.

Jefferson Healthcare in the beautiful victorian seaport of Port Townsend, Washington is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our Home Health & Hospice Department.  This is a union position, 0.8 to 1.0 FTE, 32 to 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation, 8:30AM to 5:00PM with full benefits available.

The Home Health/Hospice Physical Therapist provides quality service to clients in their homes and may also be asked to work in the OP/IP Services (Outpatient/Inpatient) when coverage requires. Under immediate, direct or indirect supervision of the Director of Home & Community Services or Clinical Rehab Supervisor. Evaluates and treats patients referred to Jefferson Healthcare Home Health and Hospice for Physical Therapy, in order to facilitate patient’s attainment of maximum independent functioning. Performs related clerical and charting duties to assist the department with patient scheduling and documentation, including billing and daily notes. Current Physical Therapist, Washington state license in good standing. Minimum one-year PT experience, Home Health experience preferred. OASIS data sets training preferred.
